Side by side……..

So I am shopping for a new couch to replace our new/used one I got a couple years ago from Craigslist.

It may not be any time soon as I have to wait for the right deal but I thought I would share with you some of the deals I am finding.

With the aide of cool blogs and sites like this one……

You can find your favorite high dollar items for lower prices…….

Some of them are still out of my budget…but I am a cheapo but it challenged me to find the same quality sofa I have been drooling over at Pottery Barn like this……..

PB Comfort Sofa, Polyester Wrap Cushions, Slubby Canvas Warm White.

  • Grade B, Organic Cotton Canvas, Natural Oeko-Tex Icon $1,199.00 Delivery Surcharge ($80.00*)

Or this……..

Charleston Love Seat

And this one loves me and beckons me……….
But just not at this price….

Pearce 2-Piece L-Shape Sectional – everydaysuedeâ„¢

Regular $2,949.00 special $2,359.00
So this is where my quest had led me so far…… Check these out. Still not my budget but I’m getting there.

  Custom Brennan Sofa Group.

Sale $899.00 JcPenney’s……and they rate excellent in quality compared to Pottery barn and also are slip covered and you can order extra slipcovers and come in the natural and tons of other colors…..and this is a SOFA not a love seat for that price…..

Then there was their sectional slip covered with down mix cushions……
  Linden Street Friday Sectional Group.
Sale $1,699.00
It is larger and pottery barns started at 2359.00……

You get the picture.

So, I am on a quest but I wanted to share with you how many look-a-like deals their are out there for a fraction of the cost.

Let me know if you find a better deal! I’m on the hunt!

Look at the IKEA Ektorp collection. They are super inexpensive and look great. I had a slipcovered Pottery Barn couch exactly like the one you like and it only lasted 3 years. We replaced it with the IKEA Ektorp sectional and the quality is actually better. Plus, back up slipcovers are only $99!!! i went ahead and bought 2.
