Do you think this is what I think it is?

We went junkin’ Saturday.
And after my first stop.
I was a little sick.
I had spent $15.00.
ON ONE STOP!
But I needed good frames.
And I got this one…..
And these three.
And Romeo had to console me that it was ok…..
That four frames for $15.00 is a good deal.
I was having a hard time with it.
I am cheap.
But……Aren’t they pretty frames?
I was going to start with taking the painting out of the first frame and I was wondering how much damage it would be to take off the little gold plaque label…
I knew it was probably labeling some kind of reproduction of an old piece of art or something.
I consider myself:
A Dr. when someone is sick.
A Psychiatrist when friends need counseling.
A navigator when I am telling my husband how to drive.
A fashionista when I want to tear apart what some movie star is wearing.
And so much more……
But
Apparently, I was now an “Art expert”.
But when I remembered some of my bad “diagnoses” in my “other” professional careers that I had self educated and labeled myself as……
I started to doubt myself prying off the little gold label thingy….
What if?
What if, this wasn’t just an old worthless painting?
I knew it was old…..
It had this on the back.
I consider that old………. ; )
By the way…..I believe it was the mom, from the Happy Mothers Day,  that sold it to me…….
Wonder if my mom is pawning off all of my old “potholders”, “ceramic puppies”, “macaroni wreaths”?
I guess these kids spent a little more on their mothers day presents.
I was a cheap even as a kid.
I’m awful!
But back to my “Art evaluation” Selftorate.
That is what you call yourself when you do not officially have a doctorate.
I have a “Selftorate” in this field…..It really holds ALOT of clout in circles I do not hang in but if I did, I’m sure they would be so impressed…….
But….
I do what all “selftorates” do when they are not sure of the answer to their dilemma.
I googled it.
And
I found this link…….

Hmmmmm???????
Then I found this link…….
Verrrrrrrryyyyyy Interesting……
And I am wondering……..
What do you guys think?
Here is a close up of the signature.
Which is similar to the Vito Ruggeri signatures that I found online.
So I laid my screwdriver and scissors down…..and I am waiting for a bit.
I’m not busting it out just yet…..it is hanging here….
But now, I have these three that I was about to rip from their frames and now I am thinking….what if?
I have to tell you…..
I am not normally a “covered wagon driving through a creek bed kind of girl” that I think is what is painted in the middle photo….
But if it is something I should keep and let “grow” on me…..I’m all for that ; )
This is the signature on that one.
I haven’t even researched it just yet.
Then there are the two little ones…….
I sort of like them.
I think I have a place for them without just using the frames….
But here is some more details on those two.
This is what is on the back of both.
But the fronts….when I clean up the velvet part….I like them.
I think.
So….what I would love to hear from you guys about…….
#1. Do you think I overspent my yard sale monies by spending $15.00 on these four photos?
#2. Do you guys have any ideas on who these artist are?
#3. Do you love this kind of stuff as much as I do?
#4. What is the best deal you have ever found from a yard sale, auction or dumpster…. ; )
#5. Should I call the show “pickers” and see if I can go on the road with them?
(I love them…I think they would love me)
#6. Does anyone know who an artist names “picasso” is? They also had a rolled up print , that had no frame. She said her great, great, grandfather gave it to her and she just stored in their safe but would give it to me for $20.00. She was silly about it. Made me wear gloves when I was looking at it.
But I’m not stupid people…..I mean….I have a “selftorate” in art!!!
There was NO WAY I was spending 20.00 with NO FRAME. I passed that worthless thing up!

Ok…I’m a fibber on #6. Just wanted to freak you out for a bit.

But anyways…can’t wait to hear your thoughts ; )
Maybe these are not even worth the $15.00 I spent but if the paintings aren’t….I still believe the frames are.
What do you guys think?
Can’t wait to hear what you guys have to say.

Love,
Me
ps
Plus….I want to tell you to please keep forwarding my “Because it is True” post….I am getting many, many personal emails from so many affected. I would like to encourage you to add your comment to the post to my family and “those hurting or affected” please do not post it to  me………..I am so thankful your love for me and prayers for me. Focus on my family please and those that may right now be in “a tough season” of their life. I so want those hurting to hear what we have to say……I pray we could make one person reconsider their “value” in life.

I am so thankful for everyone who reads this blog.

You are every bit as special as I knew you were………
