Behind the scenes part 1

Blogging about my life can sometimes be deceiving…….

I mean……this looks gorgeous…….it looks like I must always be able to just go out to my “spa like” chairs and relax with hot tea…..and my bot hubby.
So, I thought I would give you a behind the scenes shot.

The brick is just set with “sand”……so every time is sprinkles…….rains…..etc…..they are covered!

And sometimes I do not clean this area until we are going to sit in it.

I know…..we are pigs.

But don’t hate on me…….

I am being brave…..you know, like when Jamie Lee Curtis did that cover shoot for that magazine and didn’t let them re-touch her photos to let people know what was real.

Jamie Lee Curtis

I love her for that…….

I thought you needed to know that my spa like area…..

Well, it looks like this when I pretty it up.

Now….about posing in my bathing suit untouched……….

NO FREAKING WAY!

Maybe on part 2……

Maybe not.

Hope you don’t run scared.

; )

Love,

Me

You have a beautiful patio and no one would notice if you didn’t point it out yes?…….love the color of brick but maybe this issue was less noticeable with the old color of chairs yes? ……AND if you don’t put sand, what does one do?  We have to do something with our area outside of the kitchen and I’m in a quandry on whether to go with wood decking, composite, brick, stone, cement.  I’m so confused.  Love your area by the pool btw.

Connie, I have the deck….the cement around the pool…….haven’t tried the stone……but have the composite at another property…….my favorite still…..brick. It adds so much character. I think the sand is temporary. My sidewalk did that for awhile but I don’t see it anymore so I am hoping this will not stay messy like this. Thanks as always for stopping by. Love, Me
