Have a frame laying around that you are not using? How about make it into a chalkboard? Right on the glass!
I’m not joshing ya’.
Seen old pictures at yard sales, that just weren’t your style?
I found this old print at the same thrift store as my Will Moses find.
The print is not valuable…..
But, I LOVED the frame.
Because my home is so “wood” toned already, I wanted to enjoy this frame in a “re-use” kind of way.
I have a few of these paint samples that I grab when they go on clearance at Lowe’s.
I have been wanting to try this light “celery like” green.
I have no clue what color it really is…….so…..”celery like” is what we shall call it?
I had so much fun with my chalkboard coffee table that I thought I would experiment with this frame.
I will post a tutorial following this post….ONLY because it might save you from making a few mistakes that I made…..
I’m figuring that’s my job.
I make the mistakes.
Tell you guys about ’em.
You don’t make them.
You make pretty stuff.
Ya’ with me?
In the meantime……
Let’s just enjoy the before and after.
Cutie pie nephew not included.
Even when he IS “bossing” me around.
Yeah….I guess he’s a keeper.
I’m getting sidetracked.
Makes you not want to pass up the next cheap “bugly” frame you see….doesn’t it?
Here is the link to our picture frame chalkboard tutorial.…..try it. I promise, you won’t believe how easy it is!
