What do you get when…..

What do you get when you take this black/gold AND silver, plastic, lamp that you found at a thrift store…

And mix it up with this shade that you found at a yard sale…..

This spray paint…..

And of course….the KEE OOLEST nozzle in the world.

Well, let me show you.

You get this before…….

And this after.

Pretty big difference? Isn’t it?

I had about 10 minutes and close to $5.00 for lamp/shade/paint in this project.

Look how this spray paint and a yard sale shade can give you this Pottery Barn look…..
Minus the woven shade….

Well worth the ten minute  and $5.00 investment.

Don’t you think?

My tutorial….tomorrow……Super EZ.

You can so do this.

Totally transformed an out of date lamp….. into this shiny, metallic lamp for Freebirds Apt…..we are slowly getting her ready……WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Ok….I’m over that. ~sniffle~

Whatcha’ think?
~sob~

Like the difference?
~Hiccup~

Have you used the metallic spray paint?
Have you had your baby girl move into her own apartment?

Let me know!

You’ll get through this Hon. Think of all the time you’ll get to spend doing tutorials for us. Okay so maybe not the best replacement, but what the heck. I tried. Cry to us when you feel you need to. Love the new lamp by the way!

@322789fcd1205f61aa89196d783926a4 It was my first time using the metallic sprays. I have used the nickel….would that be metallic? I haven’t used the shiny kind. They are so neat! It reminded me of the mercury in a thermometer. So neat! Thanks for stopping by! Love, Me

Wow, you’re right — big difference! That’s great. I would never think to upgrade a lamp. Bravo.
