Little lambs and ivy……

Does this make you think of a sweet little lamb?

No?

It was a yucky, yard sale ottoman, that I literally sprayed with a hose…left in the rain….and let it sit outside for a few days because it reeked of smoke.

All of the above worked.

Smell gone….BUGLY remained.

So……I had to come up with something creative to make this work for Freebirds apt..

Name of the game here…..
Using what I have.

Freebird had a cute fuzzy white and black blanket in her room that could be put to better use…….

So, she and I got creative.

She decided to stay in her pajama’s during our creative time.

Nice grass Rebecca.

I stapled, she trimmed.

I trimmed….she stapled.

I stick my tongue out when I’m working….

She sticks her tongue out when she is working…..

But I ask you again….

This BUGLY ottoman didn’t remind you of this?

What about now?

Isn’t SHE adorable!??

It’s a girl…see that little fabric hanging down. Let’s pretend that’s her utter and not just us doing the underneath halfway.

Do girl lambs have utters?
UPDATE: Rebecca, yes sheep have utters – they utter BAAAAA!  Now if you want milk from them, they have to have an udder; and yes they do. Jackalee56 (I’m a dork and a bad speller! Thank you Jackalee!)

So lambs do have UDDERS…….

It’s still a girl! Yay!

We just spray painted her little legs and lightly distressed them and tightly stapled the blanket over the old upholstery.

Before and After……..

LOVE it!

Look!

A lamb on it’s back!

I am so funny…..

Hello?

Anyone???

A lamb on it’s back?

That was a good one!

Wait until you see what we used with the left over remnants of this blanket……….

So what do you think?

Like it?

How easy was this project?

This will be so cute in her new apartment!

Got a fuzzy blanket? Fuzzy rug???

Mix it up with an old ottoman??

Talk to me people!

Let us know what you think!

Love,

Me

This is one funky transformation and I love it!  Who would even think to compare it to a sheep?!  You must have one heck of an ” off the wall”  personality- my kind of girl.  *grin*
