Shoutouts and Giveaway!

What are you guys doing?

I’m sitting here with my windows open, breathing in the fresh air after hitting some yard sales this morning and wondered what you guys were doing. It’s 10am here……..

Sleeping? Making breakfast? Hitting yard sales? Yard work?

Thinking about me, thinking about you?

Anyone there?

Guys?

I wanted to share some of the awesome links that were shared on my PIT-UH-FULLLL Monday linky party. I have to figure out how to promote that linky party, so you guys can see more neat stuff!

Between you and me…..
One lady….she is KUH-RA-ZY on my linky party!!!
For real!
She is like posting a million things…..it is mainly her! She is hogging it!

Oh.

Wait a minute.

That was me.

Oops.

Spread the word people or you will only see me.

Lucky’s.

Here were some neat ideas that were shared…..besides mine. (oops again)

Remember when I used that fuzzy blanket for Freebirds chair?

Well, SWEETWATER STYLE blew that stupid idea out of the water!

SHE USED FLEECE PEOPLE!
On a couch!

Lookie here…..

Before…..

AND AFTER!!!

Can you believe that?
Reminds me of the velvet slip-cover look! Loved it!
Ripped the old skirt off and got busy with fleece. You can see the post here….AWESOME!
Wanna’ see what the dollar store and white spray paint can give you? I love this because their little pumpkins can look cheapy….Sweet Passion On A Thrifty Dime will show you how to take cheapy to chic-y.

Spruce Your Nest shows us a neat way to use the tops to dressers that you see at yard sales, thrift stores or in your garage.

I love this and did this in a bathroom once.

I love thrifty people.

Adorable, isn’t it?

So cottage chic. We need to start a new style…not shabby…. but cottage chic. Is that already a style?

Anyways….my front door needs help and this is one idea I have been considering.
Decorating Ideas Made Easy shows you how to do a plastic, pumpkin topiary.

Did you know there were plastic, carve-able pumpkins? Wow! I didn’t know that. I wonder if my plastic ones are? She shows you step-by-step how to make your own pumpkin topiary.

YAHOO!!!

Lastly but NOT leastly….

Check out Kate’s post about her painting that she is going to be taking to a gallery!!

A gallery.

Wow.

Can you imagine being that good?

Bet my “Ichabod” skills didn’t impress her too much.

Dang it.

She is super good.

Wanna’ see?

I know.

She has a cute Etsy shop and I think she should do a couple of posts on her blog on painting techniques….don’t you? Watcha’ think? Check her out and let her know!

Check out the other great links on the party….here…..you don’t have to check mine ……..unless you wanna’.

Help me spread the word.

Monday party coming up! Just tell us what your blog has been up to!

Tomorrow…another Hog Da’ Blog post where I show what you guys WITHOUT blogs have been doing. Wait until you see……

For real.

You will be shocked.

And one teeny, tiny, other thing.

Want some free stuff?

I know that I will be looked at like the black sheep of the blog family…but ASCP is too expensive for me and it is hard to promote when we are all about saving some cash…

Know what I mean?

So there, I said it.

I’m going to be alienated aren’t I?

I mean…I like it….but DANG….Cha-ching!

Well, the consignment store where I sell my furniture……she feels the same way.

So now…..she is going to sell the Milk Paint w/ bonder in it………and it is SOOOOO similar to ASCP but a fraction of the cost.

$12.99 per bag….you mix it with water. She can put like 8 bags in a “Flat rate priority mail” envelope for like $5.95. Sound awesome?

That little bag makes a can the size of AS’s $30.00 paint. Big difference! Same look and ease…..

She has been using and loves it. You can contact her here if you would like to order some yourself.
Ask for Lynette or Sandy….they go above and beyond to help you! Tell them Rebecca sent you!
http://beachescoastalcreations.com/

I am getting ready to use myself.

But back to free stuff……

If you want some then comment on THIS post and I will pick a random comment to win some goodies.
FOUR BAGS!!!
Whatcha’ think about that??
Last comment will be taken Monday night.

Sound good?

Check out the other great blogs from the linky party and remember…..Hog Da’ Blog tomorrow……and NEW linky party Monday.

Have a great day!

Love,

Me

Well, girl, I’m sitting here in VA feeling sickly (respiratory) and aching back, and now I bet you wish you hadn’t asked!!! But I’m all about a linky party, and thanks for letting us know and we’ll be there on Monday, what are you talkin’ about, we’re THERE! Sounds like you’ve got some great bloggers linking and I’m excited to meet them. And if you *must* talk about your own stuff 🙂 Go.for.it. Love it!!!

I am so behind in everything……lots to build, paint, repair, etc, etc, etc…….overwhelming!!! I would love to try this paint. I love the AS paint but I have to agree it is very expensive, if you have to have it shipped like I do it’s even worse! The idea of the powdered product you can mix as you need and ship for reasonable price sounds wonderful…..like everyone else I would love to win some so I could try different colors. Thanks for having the giveaway, you are so generous with your ideas, talent and now paint!! I appreciate you Rebecca, you are G.R.E.A.T !!! Hugs, VBg

So yes, please enter me for the goody goods!  And I promise to send pics of the results 😉

You’ve got me convinced to try the milk paint.  Not only is ASCP expensive, but it’s pricey on the shipping also (paint cans are heavy!).. Milk paint wins on both counts.  Thanks for the giveaway.  Thoroughly enjoy your blog.
