Finger Friendly Chalk

Yay! You guys confirmed with the comments from yesterdays post….that’s it’s not just me!

I’m not the only one with “chalk on my finger issues!”

Does that mean I am not the only one who canNOT stand the thought of fabric on her teeth?

You know….like when your child sucks on a sweatshirt string?

It makes my bottom cringe and teeth hurt.

That’s not just me, is it?

Guys??

Anyone?

Maybe I should have kept that one to myself.

Anyways,…..I wanted you to see how easy peezy this is to do.

Goodies you will need:
Twine
Scissors
Glue stick and gun
Chalk
Diet Dr. Pepper
Weight Watcher candy that taste like toffee. (very important)

Those simple ingredients produce…..

Cute aren’t they?

Just a note:

I used dollar store chalk and it left a ton of chalk dust every, single, time I wrote with it.

So now….I go for the crayola.

It’s still cheap.

12 pieces were $1.00.

Ok….follow this carefully.

Put glue on your chalk.

Take a drink of Diet Dr. Pepper.

Put it like this. Down the length of the chalk…..

It works better. The twine will stay on.

Next step….

Eat your piece of Weight Watchers Candy.

I did not get the step of wrapping my twine around the chalk.

I was too busy eating my candy.

Then arguing with myself that one more point wouldn’t hurt.

So, I ate another piece.

But that’s it…..really.

It’s that easy.

I need to come up with more complex stuff, don’t I?

This was all it took…..

And
Wah lah!!!

Here is some deep thinking.
I put my twine in the middle of my chalk as I wanted to be able to use both ends of my chalk.

“Complex stuff” mission met!

Fun and easy.

Cheap but cute!

Are you looking at your computer screen wondering why I even told you this?

Don’t hate on me.

I was worried some people may not put enough glue on their chalk….or may use the cheap chalk.

Kk?

AND

Tomorrow….if you are lucky…..I will show you how to butter bread and eat baked, potato chips.

OR

I will show you a precious coffee table I did and let you guess how much I would list it for on Craigslist.

You choose.

Let me know!

Can’t wait to hear what you choose!

Love,

Me

lol, you’re funny! I hate chalk with a passion; I cannot stand how it feels on my fingers. So one day, when I have children, who want me to buy them items that I cannot stand to touch…I will wrap all my chalk in twine! BUT! I will make my kids hold the chalk, so that I don’t have too.

& will normal Dr. Pepper work for this project too or does it fail without the diet kind? hahaha. http://ourfirsthome333.blogspot.com/   <---I come from here! I don't want to be all "hey! go click it!" but I also feel stupid not letting you know where I come from and that I'm not just some crazy loon who hangs out on your blog...

Very clever! As a teacher I am so happy that we no longer have to use chalkboards…I hated them! I will always praise the person who invented the white board!

    Best wishes,
