Coffee Table and Craigslist Guessing Game!

I came home one day to this table sitting in front of my garage.

My husband later told me that a young man we know, had dropped it off.

He was getting ready to donate it and thought of me.

So ……. he donated it to me.

I love that boy!

Isn’t it neat?

It is a coffee table with two folding leaves.

It was scratched and rough but I wasn’t worried about that.

This table was perfect for white, shabby chic.

Wanna’ see?

Told ya!

Love the color of the wood peeping through!

The sides go up and down effortlessly.

It was made very well.

These pictures are awful by the way. I had the camera on the wrong setting and didn’t realize until I had uploaded them. Sorry ’bout that!

It was too late to re-do them though….the table was gone.

But that is not why you are here, is it?

You love this part of the post. The CL guessing game!

Here we are my little “flippers”.

How much would I list this table for on Craigslist. Before you guess……check your Craigslist and see what you think they are going for.

One thing I wanted to mention.
Why did I choose white for this table?

I have to be careful about too much color, or I will be looking for a “specific” client.

Colors are great for blogging but they have to match certain decors.

I want it to be easy for more people to use…a more neutral color…..therefore a larger clientele.

So, what do you think?

How much do you think it would sell for on CL?

No answer is wrong! Don’t feel too cheap or too high.

Remember, it all makes sense in the end.

I can’t wait to see what you guys answer!

Oh yeah….do you like the table?

PS. I would be so excited if you would “like” me on Facebook!

I think I would like friends like yours.  But, first, I would need talent and ambition like yours.  You are amazing! You help me to see potential in old items.

This was my leftover ASCP. I really watered it down. The color was almost identical to my milk paint end table…which was ALOT cheaper paint. You can get that through the store that I list my product at. $12.99 for enough powder to make a quart AND four bags for s/h of $5.95. You can’t beat that! Good luck! Love, Me

How lucky you are that you have a friend that would just give that gorgeous table to you. I would pay $300 for it, if I had it.
