The chairs were starting to wobble at the store….
So I took them home to re-glue them.
Actually, I took them to daddy’s……he re-glued them. Love him.
Because they hadn’t sold yet, I felt that although I may love that old upholstery……I may be the only one.
I decided to do the neutral “drop-cloth” fabric slip-covers. They match more decors and have been a great seller.
So, they were transformed…….again.
Remember where they started?
You’ve come a long way baby. Or babies……..
Where they are now.
$24.00 in slip-covers changed them up a bit. Fresh! Don’t you think?
And the pretty upholstery fabric that “only I” love…..it’s still under there. In case there is one other person in this world that loves it.
I think it will appeal to a larger audience this way.
This couch and the matching chair now live with a family in Virginia.
I’m so glad. It was one of my favorite transformations.
Amazing how we can take pieces from here………
And with a little paint and a drop cloth slip-cover, give them new life.
These will go back to the store next week. I am getting another batch ready and can’t wait to show you some of the fun transformations.
We are heading to the mountains tomorrow, for a quick weekend get-away.
We are taking our 16 year old son and his friend, hitting a USC vs Tenn Football game on Saturday and DOLLYWOOD on Friday!
I LOVE DOLLY PARTON!
Just so you know……..
But, back to the chairs.
Like the new look?
Like it the old way? Was the old upholstery gorgeous to you too? Was it just me? Anyone? Helloooo??? Somebody?
Hopefully, with this fresh new look, they will be sold soon.
Let me know your thoughts!
I love hearing from you!
