The door!

I wouldn’t let myself look at it yesterday.

I paint furniture……

I know that it takes several coats to make sure it looks right.

So, I didn’t want to see it before the final coats.

But we left last night, for a rare date and I took a peek.

I.Could.Have.Puked. (Sorry Romeo)

People…..plan 911 is taking action today!

For real.

On another note.

This isn’t a change to the blog…so don’t freak.

I have noticed on my stats many readers from different countries. My stats also show me when they need to use a translation service.

I am now providing a free translator at the top right of the side-bar.

It’s the little fishy. I will move it down later but wanted people that need it to recognize it when they click on my blog.

I clicked on it today in Spanish… worked. Of course, I can’t read Spanish….but it seemed to.
The German worked too….of course I can’t read German.

Hmmmmm….if you can read a foreign language would you make sure this service works and I’m not blasting out foreign “wordy dirtys”?

When I clicked on Spanish…..found out it worked….I think……I then panicked because I couldn’t get it out of Spanish.

I calmed down, closed that window….and wah lah….back to English.

If you are reading this in a language other than English. Thank you for coming here! Now you can comment and I will use the translator to understand.

We’re getting fancy people!

Back to the front door. I had another post today that I planned to give you guys but I needed to share my door progress. I am not taking photos to share yet, but later, when I share the reveal….I will show you what I saw when I left last night.

Hard to describe.

Hard to think about.

Hard to make myself go back out and look at it again.

For real!

Wish me luck!

Don’t you feel sometimes, when you’re on the internet, like Mr Phelps from Mission Impossible?! I get into pages and not only can’t get out, but change stuff and need tech support. Dang it!

Good luck with the door!! Usually, with me anyways, the projects that I am sure are going to end badly…end the best 🙂

How much longer??? We’re dying here! Suspense is killin’ me! Well, not really. But…you know…it’s like a kid at Christmas. I’m sure we’ll all love the “present” when it’s revealed!

Oh No! Looking forward to the reveal and the horror of last evening…

I’m sure it’s not THAT bad……you’re just panicking about your decision to finish it the way you wanted it!! Take heart it will look wonderful!!
Thanks for adding the translator, I don’t need it but I’m sure people who do will appreciate it, it’s very considerate of you. I have read the German version and except for a word repetition and a few grammatical inconsistencies it reads fine. Strange to read your post in another language…..not used to it, I think I’ll stick to English. I hope your date was fun!! Hugs, VBg
