Valentines Wreath

I am going to show you a few items that are reminding my family of my “love” for them as Valentines Day approaches.

Welcome home!

The Valentines wreath was a purchase last year from Big Lots. $8.00! There were some hanging at my Doctors office and I asked where they found them. They said that EVERYone had been asking and they had just found them at Big Lots. I never shop there……it is a great store but you need to go often to get the goodies. I NEVER shop, so therefore I am not able to find their great deals. I got lucky on this one. I do hear they have some cute Valentines Day decor again and as low as $3.00. You may want to check it out.

Yes, I bought two. They are full of artificial roses and I liked them. Kk?

Great deal for $8.00 don’t you think?

Time for my Christmas tray to move into Valentines! Remember how easy this project was? One of my most popular projects in December.

It transitioned well and yes…..I am going to take my own advice and switch out the white “hookie” for one of my spray painted nickel ones.

I will also straighten the crooked candle hanging next to it.

Just writing love messages…..using what we have and “Valentines-ing” it up is another way to re-use an existing piece of your decor.

Christmas decor is super cheap right now. Think outside of the box and utilize the existing red in thrifted holiday items. Ask yourself if you could make that into a Valentines piece or a fun “red” piece to add some “pop” to your existing decor.

I have given you a hint in this post but can anyone guess what I did with this Christmas tray that I found at Goodwill this week?

I will show you tomorrow.

Check out your Goodwill and Big Lots.

Do you have a Big Lots?

Do you decorate lightly for Valentines Day?

Do you decorate at all for Valentines Day?

Are you even there?

Helloooo?

I can’t wait to hear from you!

Love,

Me

I love all of your Vday touches and can’t wait to see what you do with that tray! Yes, I shop at Big Lots sometimes but it is on a side of town I don’t get too all that often. This year is really the most I have ever decorated for Valentine’s day and it is fun adding a few light touches here and there!

Nice post! Looking forward to seeing the tray restyled. I don’t usually decorate for Valentine’s Day but……….I’m thinking about making a wreath 🙂 I haven’t posted a craft in a while and I have the itch to use my glue gun.

Yeah, I decorate for Valentine’s Day. My bathroom. It’s the main one that people use and I change it EVERY month for what is coming up. Crazy? Yeppers! (she says proudly!)
