Want a super easy recipe that will wow your family and guests?
Because super easy is about all I have.
And yes….I had to google the plural spelling of potato.
Thank you Dan Quayle. (Who remembers that? How many of you even remember Dan Quayle?)
Lawry’s seasoned salt
And a bunch of taters (I used about 8)
And no lie…when I make this side dish everyone raves. It taste so complicated…but it’s not.
And it’s so affordable!
Ok….here you go.
Dice up your potatoes. Sometimes I leave bits and pieces of the skin on. It is tastier that way. This time my potatoes were a little “aged”, so the skin wasn’t smooth like I prefer.
A cookie sheet is nice to use to have your potatoes stay in one layer and cook evenly.
Season….looks like step one but there is seasoning here.
Step three…..drizzle olive oil over your potatoes.
I used a little too much this time….you want enough to just moisten your potatoes and not sit or puddle on the bottom of the pan.
After drizzling your oil….stir it all together. Make sure the seasonings and oil are mixed throughout.
Four steps…that’s it!
And you pop this in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes.
I stir them about twice while they are cooking.
If I wouldn’t have used too much oil they would have been a little drier but they not a tater left and our guests raved about them.
Rave is my word of the day apparently.
Want another neat tip?
Do this with your potatoes and then make them into potato salad.
My mom does this and everyone always wants her to make her famous potato salad.
They “rave” about it.
But that’s it.
Want a printable?
Oh.Well I don’t know how to do that.
Think you would try this? Have your own variation you wouldn’t mind sharing in the comments?
Want to pin this and follow me on a cookbook tour?
Oh.Wait. I don’t have a cookbook.
I would love to hear your variations or comments!
