Different than normal

Ok, so I found a “Bu-gly” piece……

Who remembers what “Bu-gly” means? Raise your hands if you do.

Click “here” if you don’t !

Bless it’s heart.

I know.

I really didn’t know what to do with it.

The skinny legs?

The drawers without pulls? They have a little “indention” on the bottom so you can pull it.

The flat front?

And…….

All the bu-gly aside…….

I think, I may have accidentally gotten it right.

Cover your eyes!

Be merciful!

Yes, the leg was crooked. I’m going to fix that.

Or….

Have my daddy fix that.….

See?

It accidentally worked.

Don’t you think?

Eek!

I sorta, kinda, wanna, maybe, know what you think.

I’m that confident. ; )

Love,

Me

The bugly duckling became a beautiful, colorful swan! I just realized this. You don’t live too far from me.

ps. I wanted to make sure you knew I was being sarcastic about Nebraska. I started worrying last night…..”What if she thinks I don’t want her to know where I live?” I worry too much! So you are a South Carolina Gal too?

I love it! I have actually shabbified a few mid-century pieces that I too was pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out. I’m definitely going to try the two tone effect like you did….TOO CUTE!

It wasn’t that bad before, just a modern piece that had had a ROUGH time in its short life. Love the color.

I just bought a dresser that could be this one’s sister. I buy/sell painted furniture and was hoping it would turn out ok. Your looks good. Not use to having “no handles” and the legs bothered me a little. I’ll post a picture when I finish it. Yours looks good!
