Cottage style…..

If you have been around here long you will know that cottage style furniture is one of my favorite styles to transform. Let me show you why.

Isn’t this pretty?

It is, but it is a little out dated. Check it out now with just a little bit of paint and distressing.

They transform so easily!

You want to know why?

Because they have good bones.

See what I mean?

If you would like to see some of my other cottage style pieces that I have transformed click…..

Here“, “here“, “here“,”here“,”here” and “here“.

I told you I like cottage style transformations.

Now…..tell me what you think?

I can’t wait to hear what you have to say!

I am happy that your blog is still showing up in my google reader! You’re right, great bones on the chest.

    Hi there.

This is absolutely beautiful. Beyond beautiful.

Our living room is currently painted green and everything else is burgundy, green, and hits of cream here and there. Plus — lots of HEAVY, dark wood. My husband thinks that painting nice wood is akin to murder. I plan on showing this to him. If he HAS to have his green walls — the least he can do is let me paint the dark stuff that makes me feel like I live in a medieval castle. 🙂

Your stuff in incredible. This should erase any argument he has against painting furniture. 🙂

But if you live in a castle, doesn’t that make him your king? LOL! Thank you for enjoying this transformation. Stick around! You have a lot of catching up to do. : ) XOXO! Rebecca
