A chippy thrifty find
Yawwwwwwnnnnnnn…………..
Stretchhhhhhh……………
~ Scratch, scratch ~
(sorry about that)
Ok…..
I will be the first to admit it.
Well, not the first.
I get your emails.
I may be the “eight-teenth” to admit it……but I do admit that I was in a bit of a “no-posting” funk.
And I was ready to get out of my funk…….
So, I blew the cobwebs off of my camera today and started shooting a precious, little, chippy shelf that I found at a yard sale a few weeks ago.
I have to admit….
It felt good to get my Nikon back out again.
AND
This table/bench/shelf/thingy has puzzled me a bit.
What to do with it?
Isn’t it gorgeous for fall?
I almost passed it up.
IT WAS TEN-STINKING-WHOLE-DOLLARS!!!!
I know.
Take out a loan.
But…….
Can you blame me?
Does it inspire you?
I hate to hide it with mums.
What about down the center of my dining room table?
What do you think?
Does it have possibilities?
What would you do with it?
Would you have shelled out ten buck-a-roo’s?
Let me know!
I can’t wait to hear from you!
Love,
Me

Perfect amount of chippy-ness. Perfect for fall just like that with the pumpkins and gourds.
Yay! Thanks Carlene! Love when you stop by! Love, Me
Yes, yes! Down the center of your table. I’m having DH make me one for our 59th anniversary. Can you believe after all these years I still love an orange chippy bench? You did good, girl!
(Won’t it be great with my red/yellow and touches of blue decor?) LOL!
First……may I say FIFTY NINE YEARS?????!!!!! WOWEE!!!! CONGRATULATIONS! Plus, may I say something else? I even clicked on your profile pic because you are gorgeous and defy all age myths. What a name by the way! Love it. I would be signing everything that way. It sounds so official! Good luck on your bench and your decor sounds like mine. I guess we can make the orange rock where we need to. : ) Love, Me
Love it! and you’ve dressed it up perfectly, what a beauty of a bench!
Thank you Anne! So, ten dollars didn’t go to waste! ; ) love, Me
great find and REALLY great price, it’s perfect for Harvest decor!!
I love it!
I totally want that bench! Super find at a fantastic price! What’s better than that? Uh… Nothing! Great pics too!
First, good to have you back and I totally get the funk (notice anything on my blog lately?…NO). And the bench by itself, I would probably not seen potential, but I’m not as creative like that as you. The way you’ve got it with pumpkins, love it!
It’s gorgeous! I love it with the pumpkins on top. At $10 I would use it for fall/Thanksgiving decor and store it the rest of the year if i didn’t have a place for it. You can always store things on it.

Oh, yeah. I would have shelled out the ten bucks! It’s adorable–just right with the little gourds on top! I think it would be great down the center of the table!
Beautiful! 🙂 Definitely worth the moolah. 🙂 I love it with the little gourds on it, but if you wanted to add more, you could always try wrapping a leaf garland around it very loosely. 🙂
omg!!! I love it so much I am using text lingo to communicate it.
I am glad you jumped out of your funk…. I love love love the mini chippy orange bench. so “fall harvest” I would put it down the middle of your table.
