Ever been in a decorating funk?

Want a cheap fix that can re-boot your “DIY” genius?

I mean…REALLY cheap.

Like ten cents cheap.

Bottle opener from a thrift store.

One dime.

Ten pennies.

I took a sample paint color that I had, painted the opener right in my kitchen with a paper towel underneath it and used a kids paint brush.

Didn’t take a DIY genius…but isn’t it cute now?

So cute to throw in our beach cooler!

I love picking up thrifted utensils.

Tell me these bamboo spoons aren’t precious and I will call you crazy.

I have a thing for bottle openers.

I just found out by looking at my pics.

I think I love them.

I do not drink bottled drinks.

I still love them. Amen.

You can pick up a ton of wooden utensils in thrift stores. They are old and vintage but have a very cool “modern” look.

You may have to dig a bit.

But they are a fun way to add a “cool” vibe to your kitchen decor.

Ten cents and a little digging……I think it is worth it.

I SOOOOO wish I had the abilities you have! I don’t have a decorating bone in my body. My walls are SO bare because I’m clueless on how to go about decorating them. My only “passions” are photography, so there tend to be tons of pictures here and there. Outside is another story, my yard looks like a park, it’s just the inside of my house that is unbelievably BARE…blah. LOVE your page, it’s a “feel good” kinda page, always makes me smile, keep up the good work 🙂

I sooooooo thank you for your comment. I think you may have more decorating bones than you know. If you can bring beauty into the yard…that is artistic! Many cannot do that! How can you use that gift on the inside? Outdoor pics printed on canvas? (so cheap now) to cover those bare walls? I would love to see your yard! XOXO! Rebecca

My husband makes them! I love how he comes up with a design, makes it outside in the yard under the tree, asks me about stain color choices, and finally brings in his product.

Cute idea! I saw those spoons and had to comment. My mom had them when we were a kid and we used them for grapefruits! The little jagged ends were perfect for digging the pulp out! Now I have to go see if she still has them so I can paint them.
