Summer Succulents!
I am playing it a different a tad with some of my plants around my pool.
One reason…this year when spring hit, I was going through all of my pots that had been around my pool to get them ready for new flowers.
I was shocked to see that many of my succulents had made it through winter, with no care on my part.
~LIGHTBULB MOMENT~
Stick with Succulents!
They survive on just a little water.
They are colorful.
They thicken and multiply.
They come back year after year.
Win.Win.Win.
These pics were taken not long after I transplanted the ones that survived the winter with a few new varieties.
You should see them now!
I will still have some of my pretty flowers.
But I will place my flowers where I know they can get watered…by rain…..in case I forget.
But my succulents can be placed pretty much anywhere and are here to stay!
Literally……
What about you?
Do you have a favorite “Low or NO maintenance” summer flower or plant?
Have you tried succulents?
I would love to know!
Love,
Me
I have one that blooms tiny yellow flowers. Low maintenance is the best. 🙂
I could send you a start if you don’t have it. I’ll try to post a picture today. 🙂
